Lee, who owns bitcoin and has been among the biggest bulls on Wall Street, believes that a change in direction in emerging markets would signal a similar change in Bitcoin’s trend.
"The news that we have seen, from the SEC saying bitcoin's a commodity, to ... the potential for an [exchange-traded fund] is causing investors to decide that bitcoin is the best house in a tough market."
Thomas Lee, the co-founder of Fundstrat Global Advisors commented that he would rather buy Bitcoin over Bitcoin Cash during an appearance on CNBC.
