In 2019, there are a lot of interesting partnerships taking place in the Crypto space. Currently, it has been known that Sports Blockchain Venture Chiliz has declared a Strategic partnership with one of the leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance. The latest news was revealed via a press release on May 17.
Chiliz is basically a sports and entertainment platform which powers the tokenized fan engagement platform and blockchain-backed app, Socios.com.
A popular platform for football fans, Socias.com have teamed up with two leading soccer teams mainly Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, whose main purpose is to use the platform to release fan token offerings for their club-branded tokens which will grant voting rights for club-related polls and provide a reward for their holders.
As of now, Binance is supporting Chiliz Venture, Chiliz and Socios.com. Alex Dreyfus, CEO of Chiliz and Socious.com has understood that the latest incorporation of Binance Chain will increase our reach to the entire liquidity pool of the Binance Communities in the atmosphere.
Dreyfus further mentioned that via Socios.com we will represent blockchain to a mainstream audience of 3.5 billion fans around the world by teaming up with the industry's leading brands and household names. Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance positively commented about the Idea by saying,
“Sports is the perfect vehicle through which to educate mass consumers about the potential and the utility of blockchain technology. I’m proud that Binance and Chiliz are leading that charge globally.”
As per the press release, the latest collaboration with Binance chain will allow Chiliz to integrate blockchain in their consumer-facing product. Hence, it will be able to provide various services such as instant payments, pre-paid gift cards, and micro-transactions for different types of digital services.
Socios partner club fan tokens like PSG and Juventus are currently in the development phase and will declare details about it in the near future. As soon as the successful integration of $CHZ is being done, the upcoming fan tokens can be issued on the Binance coin.
Earlier in 2018, Chiliz has collected $66 million via private placement from investors in 2018, will reportedly provide details in the next few weeks. Also, it will declare partial migration of ERC20 tokens to BEP2, the technical standard for Binance Chain mainnet.
